Training
The core of the DRUGtrain training programme is formed by four training modules that together cover the full spectrum of education within the multidisciplinary research field of drug repurposing and discovery (modules I and II), as well as training in transferable skills (modules III and IV).
Training is organised in different training courses. The training modules consist of a set of general training elements that provide an introductory, and a set of specific training elements that will strengthen the expertise of the ESR on the topic involved. The training modules are combined and arranged in a series of five courses that are being organised at 6-month intervals (10, 16, 22, 28, 34 months), in parallel with network meetings.
Depending on the topic, training elements within the modules will be provided in the form of lectures or hands-on (computational) workshops. ESRs will be required to prepare some lectures or workshops in advance by studying course materials, e.g. literature, or by doing assignments that will be evaluated and discussed during the workshops.
